The Legend of Akio
Akio lives in the village of Maichō, which rests at the base of Mount Fujigara. The inhabitants of the village live in a time of peace with one another, as well as the animals that populate the village and the mountain. One day, an evil sorceress climbs the top of Mount Fujigara and creates a curse which turns the mountain’s animals into Yokai, which fall under the sorceress’s control. It is up to Akio to climb his way to the Fujigara's peak, saving the animals he encounters from Yokai possession, and ultimately break Kijo's curse on the land.
This is a bullet heaven game where you need to defeat waves of yokai along with animal companions. Upgrade yourself and your companions with around 80 different upgrades and 6 unique companions to choose from. Survive for 15 minutes and free the animals from their curse.

A clean hack n slay. The companions are nice, the level-up is very frequent at the beginning and a few more enemies would have been nice. I got to level 19, I liked it even though it's not my genre :3 I'm impressed with how big your jam team was. And very nice Itch page!
